Look, Japan is no stranger to getting a little eccentric with their burgers and fries. Combined with the country's love for limited-edition seasonal and promotional goods, this makes for some very unique menus around Japanese eateries. Now with the upcoming release of the new Ghostbusters film, Tokyo chain J.S. Burgers Cafe is releasing a Ghostbusters-themed menu featuring some truly ghoulish burgers.

G.B. Burger

First up is the G.B. Burger, priced at 1,580 yen ($15.50 USD). In between the pitch-black burger buns are purple cabbage and beef patties coated in a black olive and anchovy paste. Those white blobs you see consist of ghost-inspired cream, which may be used to balance out the hot-and-sour spicy ketchup on the burger. You can choose from three spice levels on your ketchup, one of which makes use of tongue-numbing ghost peppers for fitting kick.

Marshmallow Mad Burger

The Marshmallow Mad Burger (1,280 yen, $12.56 USD) is another challenge against culinary sanity. In between the white buns is yogurt ice cream, cocoa cookies, and an extra large marshmallow. The bloody red sauce that tops the dessert burger is made from raspberries and beets. This sweet burger tribute to the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man is a chance to sit atop the Iron Throne of diabetes.

Green Ghost Shake

It's called the Green Ghost Shake (780 yen, $7.65 USD), but perhaps we can just roll with Slimer Smoothie here. The frightful drink is really an avocado and apple smoothie that comes with a spinach and orange sauce. And hey, some kiwi chunks and some burger candies for good measure.

Black Chili Chips

The color motif of these Black Chili Chips (780 yen, $7.65 USD) is inspired by the actual logo of the Ghostbusters team. It might actually scare off the most customers as it features spicy chili beans in squid ink, along with white cheddar sauce and tomato puree.

Once you wipe the squid ink and marshmallows off your fingers, it appears that the burger joint will also be offering collectible Ghostbusters goodies.

J.S. Burgers Cafe has several locations in Tokyo, with participating Ghostbusters shops being located in Shinjuku、Shibuya Parco、Harajuku、Lumine Ikebukuro, and Lalaport Ebina. The collaboration burger campaign will run from July 1st to September 30th. Who ya gonna call?
