To effectively promote Japanese food culture to foreigners, the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries is now tapping into the appeal of popular vocaloid Hatsune Miku. The virtual superstar might seem an odd choice to promote local Japanese specialties, but perhaps her animated enthusiasm is the perfect way to get visitors to Japan to think beyond sushi and sashimi!

Oishii Trip [English subtitle available]

In promotional video, Miku acts as both a tour guide and somewhat of a gourmet-sampling date for you. It makes special effort to focus on regional foods in Japan, whether they be from Hokkaido, Kyushuu, or Tokyo!

Enjoying Japanese scallops! (“Hotate”)

Hokkaido's Crab! ("Kani")

Sightseeing together!

Oh dear, too kawaii!

“Oishii(おいしい)!” is the keyword the song, meaning "delicious."

Adding “Hi!”(はい) between verses to overload cuteness

If you want to look up what she is saying exactly, you can find the English lyric on the bottom of the webpage.
