Working wonders in liquid resin and wire, Kazamidori 風碧 is a talented artist who creates both works to decorate your home and to accessorize your wardrobe.

He makes detailed three-dimensional flower "portraits" complete with vases, potted plant creations from very small to detailed bonsai creations, colorful kanzashi hair pins and hat pins, and more recently, herbarium art works which look like old-fashioned botanical specimens fashionably displayed in labeled glass ampoules and sealed with cork.

Here are some of our favorite works in his collection. Click on the images to view them in full resolution.

Herbarium Series: Kazamidori Lab

Kazamidori has recently been creating herbarium artwork in a series called "Kazamidori Lab." They have a charming, old-fashioned feel, with each botanical specimen contained in a glass ampoule, labeled for identification and sealed with a cork.
