It was recently announced that for the first time in three years, a Studio Ghibli exhibit would be coming to Tokyo. Called the "Toshio Suzuki and Studio Ghibli Exhibition", the exhibit will celebrate the works of co-founder and former president Toshio Suzuki, as well as allow visitors to enjoy a cafe menu of delicious Studio Ghibli-themed food.
While the exhibit limited merchandise and calligraphy works of Suzuki will no doubt delight fans of the beloved animation studio, new promotional photos reveal what may be viewed as the show-stealer of the exhibit.
These enormous and intimidating Yubaba and Zeniba heads
The 3 meter structures of the inhumanly large witch sisters actually serve a purpose other than terrifying you. They sit in the middle of a gallery of Suzuki's calligraphy and artwork. Visitors can reach into the mouths of each statue and receive an omikuji, or written fortunes typically received at Shinto shrines.

There are a total of 26 different fortunes regarding good luck and true love, and they've been personally handwritten by Toshio Suzuki himself! As you can see, they even contain an English explanation.
The exhibit also chronicles Suzuki's career through a display of works.
There's also a range of limited edition goods that include decorated fans, rice bowls, cups, and even plum seaweed chips.
The exhibition is being held at EDOCCO (Edo Culture Complex), a 5-minute walk from Ochanomizu station, or a 7-minute walk from Akihabara station. Tickets can be bought at some convenience stores in advance, or on the day.

The exhibition opens on 20th April and closes on 12th May 2019
