Scheduled to open next spring, Small Worlds Tokyo aims to be the largest indoor minature/diorama theme park in the world. The theme park, which clocks in at a space of over 8,000 square meters, will offer a multitude of dioramas and "overwhelming immersion" with moving miniatures including towns across the world, a Space Center, Kansai International Airport, Tokyo (seven areas in total), Sailor Moon, and even Neo-Tokyo 3 from Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Dioramas in the theme park showcase a collaborative effort between talented miniature creators and engineers, highlighted by moving dioramas that appear to be functioning worlds of their own.
The theme park is even offering a bonus for their annual pass, which allows you to take a 3D scanned figure of yourself and place it into the miniature world of Neo-Tokyo 3, letting you watch yourself live in the world of Neon Genesis Evangelion when you visit.
