If you happen to be a fan of Kit Kat and dessert, then Kit Kat Japan has cooked up something in their Chocolatory shops that might be an exciting treat for you.

The Kit Kat Chocolatory is a series of specialty shops where you can buy different types of so-called “premium Kit Kat”. It’s the place to go to if you want to get limited-edition flavors or if you’re looking to get a beautifully-packaged ready-to-go gift for the chocolate lover in your life.

Their main branch in Ginza, Tokyo also has a cafe that serves sweets which feature the chocolate bars as one of the main ingredients. This time, to coincide with Valentine’s season, they’re serving a new type of dessert that not only looks delicious but can be interactive too.

This cacao bean-shaped dessert has an exterior made entirely out of chocolate. It splits open so that when you lift the top, you get a pleasant surprise. You’ll find a Kitkat bar on top of some whipped cream, mixed with fruits like strawberries, kiwis and oranges—all carefully layered inside the chocolate pod.

But if you want to make your dining experience a lot more fun, every order comes with warm cacao pulp juice as a set. You can choose to pour the liquid over the lid and watch as the chocolate melts before your eyes. You can then mix the melted chocolate with the cream and fruits, for an alternative way of enjoying your dessert.

The Kit Kat Chocolatory in Ginza is only selling them from January 23 to February 14, 2020. And they’re limiting the availability of the cacao fruit desserts to only 10 per day, so it’s best to head to the Chocolatory early if you want to get the chance to try them.
