While many on Japanese Twitter is reacting to a day of rare heavy snowfall in Tokyo by celebrating stunningly beautiful snow-covered cherry blossom trees and crafting hilarious snow sculptures, user Mac (@mojo23mac) may be stealing the show with a short but sweet video of their cat discovering snow on their veranda.

Despite scooping up the newly discovered snow and playing with it, the fluffy cat lives up to its special curiosity by eating it--then immediately reacting with a paralyzing and dramatic brain freeze.

You can't help but feel sorry for the overly-eager feline, but it's hard not to laugh at the dramatic paw-raise being compared to a kabuki actor in the comments. Cats, much like humans, are susceptible to brain freeze, but they definitely feel it a lot faster than their owners. Hopefully thise teachers Mac's cat just because you can eat something doesn't mean you should.
