Besides the Japanese celebrities’ accounts and some of the popular videos that are now a hot topic in Japan, I will also guide you step by step on finding out the accounts of people you want to watch on TikTok.

The celebrities I will talk about in this article are very famous in Japan and are active on both Twitter and Instagram.

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is very known for her unique fashion and hyperactive music. The queen of cuteness originally worked for a fashion magazine called KERA.

She is both a singer and a model from Tokyo and she made her debut as a singer after being scouted by the famous producer Yasutaka Nakata.

Kyary’s real name is Kiriko Takemura and she also uses Instagram and Twitter as social media platforms and has a huge number of followers.

The adorable Naomi Watanabe is a hit overseas, too, and she became famous for her monomane (impersonations) of the American singer Beyoncé.

Naomi is still appearing in variety shows and she even collaborated with James Corden for the SK-II global skincare series.

Yamazaki Neo

Born in Kagoshima Prefecture and originally an influencer, Yamazaki Neo was selected as an exclusive model for the popular magazine “Popteen” in 2018.

Her TikTok ID is neoneo and she also has a Youtube Channel, Instagram, and Twitter account.

She became very popular on Tik Tok due to her amazing lip-syncing and her cute animated facial expressions.

Yokoyama Yui

Yokoyama Yui is part of the famous idol group AKB48 and you can find her on TikTok and also on Instagram and Twitter.

Perfume

The Japanese techno-pop idol group, Perfume, formed of Ayano Omoto, Kashino Yuka and Ayaka Nishiwaki are also regularly uploading videos under the name of perfumeofficial.

How can you find someone on Tik Tok?

The easiest way to find someone on Tik Tok is by knowing their ID.

After downloading the application, all you need to do is tap the second icon on the bottom(the magnifying glass) and a search bar will appear.

You just need to write down or Copy-Paste the ID and the account you are looking for should appear.

Be aware of the fact that just by typing the name, you might not find the person you are looking for, so if you are not sure of the ID name, you can quickly open their Instagram or their Twitter page and search to see if they shared their TikTok account or videos.

 

The ID shows up at the bottom of the videos, so you can write it down and search it afterward.

What are some of the most popular videos in Japan?

I mentioned lip-syncing earlier when I talked about Yamazaki Neo’s account.

Videos that have accurate lip-syncing and cute facial expressions like hers are super popular in Japan and gain a lot of followers.

Another popular type of video is the couple videos and one of the most popular accounts is kochani1224.

They are super adorable and have gained around 837.3k of fans and 17.9m of hearts on Tik Tok.
