Some of our readers may recall that popular cafe EGG & SPUMA, known for their Sanrio collaboration menus, had done their final collaboration last year. To the delight of Sanrio fans, however, they've reconsidered and are continuing this year!
Their latest collaboration marks a return of the KUROMI ♡ MY MELODY CAFE, which proved to be very popular in April 2019. This new collaboration will last for three months from August through to October, 2020, and will be divided into two phases, with the second phase changing to a Halloween theme. If you attended the last one and are thinking it may just be a repeat, you'll be pleasantly surprised to learn that Sanrio and EGG & SPUMA have made some changes. This time, you'll find Kuromi and My Melody along with cute and girly motifs full of heart shapes in both the interior and the menu offerings.

The first phase will feature such menu items as the "My Melody Heartful Burger", and the cool and refreshing "My Melody and Kuromi Fuwafuwa Milk Shaved Ice" which is perfect for summer. In the second phase, you'll enjoy the fabulously photogenic "My Sweet Piano's Mokomoko Meringue" featuring a hamburger steak sandwiched between fluffy pink meringue buns, as well as the "My Melody, Kuromi and My Sweet Piano's Strawberry Pancake Parfait" topped by one of EGG & SPUMA's popular souffle pancakes. You can look forward to a limited menu close to Halloween time too!

This afternoon tea set is a recurring favorite at Sanrio collaboration cafes. This time, you'll get two trays full of sweets such as a Kuromi and My Melody-themed creme puff, a crispy mille feuille, and piano-themed waffles, which you can enjoy with plenty of fluffy whipped cream.
