Kadokawa announced today that Nagaru Tanigawa's watershed Haruhi Suzumiya light novel series, which inspired an internationally famous anime adaption and the "Hare Hare Yukai" dance, among other things, is returning to publication with a 12th novel.

Having launched with "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" 「涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱」in 2003, the novels, illustrated by Ito Noizi, continued through popular demand until "The Surprise of Haruhi Suzumiya" (second half) in 2011 (2013 in English).

The story picks up again with the familiar characters Haruhi, Kyon, Nagato, Mikuru (and maybe others) on November 25th, 2020, with the publication of the 12th novel, entitled "The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya" 「涼宮ハルヒの直観」

Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko is also collaborating with Animate on an exclusive set in which you'll be able to get the novel, which costs 720 JPY + tax, bundled with an exclusive graphic T-shirt.
