Japanese adult video maker Soft On Demand (SOD) is known for not for just being one of the largest adult video companies in Japan, but some creative approaches to marketing. In the past they held an event to power up an illumination using the pent up sexual energy of virgins, and recently made 200 of their videos free online to offer relief during the pandemic only for their website to crash in a matter of hours.

Now Soft on Demand will be taking its adult video talents to Tokyo's chief entertainment and red-light district, Kabukicho, in a big way: opening up a five floor "adult theme park" named SOD LAND, which lets visitors drink and dine with actresses who appear in SOD films.

SOD LAND will open in a five floor (B1F-4F) dining building with a different concept per floor, overseen by SOD founder Ganari Takahashi.

The basement level is advertised as a reproduction of SOD's previously opened "female employee" bar in Akihabara, but billed as being staffed by fresh on the job "newbies". It's more of a casual and cheap drinking atmosphere as opposed to some of the neighborhood's expensive hostess clubs.

The first floor will have SOD LAND's general reception area, as well as a number of games and SOD-themed capsule machines.

The second floor houses the "Sex Industry Research Center". The description of the bar is likely deliberately coy, but sounds to be similar to a hostess club as its advertised as a place to "look at styles and faces" and enjoy drinking.

On the third floor is the SOD Syain Bar KABUKICHO, which is a new variation of their similar bar in Shin-Nakano. Customers can drink in a more relaxed setting (its set up like an office) in a bar staffed by "famous sexy SOD actresses".

The fourth floor is finished off by the Silent Bar, where customers relax quietly while a "sexy bartender" appears on the other side of a one-way mirror.

Adult Theme Park SOD LAND will open on October 10th in Kabukicho.
