Concert Report

On January 23rd, the world's top virtual artist Kizuna AI had her first solo online concert in two years, "Kizuna AI 2nd Live 'hello, world 2020'," and to the delight of most of those who tuned in to experience it, it was a resounding success. The virtual diva with over 4.4 million subscribers on YouTube and over 10 million followers on various social networking services, wowed her online audience in a show which was simultaneously streamed on YouTube, U-NEXT, bilibili, TikTok, and Oculus Venues, and watched by an estimated 100,000 people.

Using xR (extended reality) technology developed by Kizuna AI Ltd., and the CyberAgent Group's cutting-edge creative equipment and facilities such as the "virtual photography system" and "LED STUDIOTM," they achieved a concert in which real performers, a real stage and the virtual Kizuna Ai were seamlessly integrated, resulting in an outstanding multimedia experience that blurred the boundaries between the real and the virtual.

The guest lineup included DÉ DÉ MOUSE, TeddyLoid, Kaf, and virtual Yasutaka Nakata.

The concert is currently archived on YouTube, bilibili, and U-NEXT until Tuesday, January 26 (JST), so please check it out if you missed it in real-time:
