Ten contemporary artists, flower arrangers, and tea ceremony practitioners are holding a collaborative event this March to exhibit paintings & tea utensils that aim to highlight the importance of tea and the spirit of Zen in Japan.

"ENSŌ - A Momentary Experience is the True Reality" is set to be held in Fukuoka City, and visitors can also purchase the art pieces & tea utensils exhibited during the event. Some of the participating artists and practitioners have been perfecting their craft for over a decade, and this event serves a melting pot of different minds entrenched in both modern and traditional Japan.

The exhibition, along with some art performances, will have a limited opening from February 26-28 for those who want to experience the event before being opened to the public. You can get tickets for the limited opening through the organizers’ website for 5,000 yen. The art pieces and tea utensils displayed will also be put up on the same website for those who want to purchase them from other parts of Japan.

For those who want to attend the March 1-7 public opening for free, you can pre-register before visiting the gallery to get an original sticker, postcard, and tea drip packs. You can also just visit the exhibition directly, which you can find more details on below.
