Sustainable Think is an apparel and fashion store which aims to teach it’s customers about SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and the current global environment through sustainable products.
Stocking products that are both socially and environmentally friendly, Sustainable Think hopes to build a supportive community that focuses on worldwide sustainability issues.

After opening it’s flagship store on the 7th floor of Shibuya’s Yurakucho Marui building in March, a second store will open in Nagoya’s PARCO building on 3rd April 2021.

Sustainable Think and its product development is headed by 3 creatives; fashion designer Haruki Sasaki, creative directorAtsushi Morita and artist Yuriko Wada.

The store has created an ‘ecosystem’ for sustainable product development, where it functions as a lab shop that manufacturers and designers can collectively work with to produce goods. This ecosystem is designed to support the creators all the way through from concept creation, product development, launch and to over-the-counter sales.

The store utilises shopping bags made of upcycled washi paper – for both their instore design and as bags for their customers – that have been dyed into the 17 colours of the SDG organisation. Due to the complicated process and delicateness of washi paper, this is one of the only ways that the material can be reused, and is a perfect representation of Sustainable Think’s manifesto.

Below is a collection of just some of the sustainable brands that will be featured in store.
