Dogs are adorable in all shapes and sizes, but the lovely canines featured on Japanese maker Marumo Takagi's charming mug cups double their appeal by transforming based on the temperature of your drink. Their cups showcase dog silhouettes that blossom into striking patterns when filled with a heated beverage.

A video details the mesmerizing process of the dogs revealing their true colors when the mugs are filled with hot beverages roughly around 45 degrees Celsius that activates a special paint coating.

This mug uses a special paint that changes color at about 45 degrees Celsius, so when you pour a hot drink into it, it changes from black to a colorful floral patterns, as well as Japanese motif art featuring waves, traditional sensu fans, and sakura.
