Painting a figure in itself can be an incredible investment of hard work and time, and even more so to do it well. Japanese artist and YouTuber MA-Man (@M_A_paintman) has a particular talent for repainting figures that really shows off the craft of the hobby, however.

When MA-Man repaints figures, she applies a two dimensional aesthetic that makes the figures look as if they are scene straight out of the anime. At first glance, it's hard to believe she's even using figures to begin--as evidenced by her latest amazing effort, a repainting of Roronoa Zoro from One Piece in his Wano Country samurai clothing.

MA-Man's repainting of the master of three sword style looks like it popped right out of a scene from One Piece. While keeping the original color scheme intact, she enhances details with shadows, creases, and an overall vividness to top off the anime aesthetic.
