For a sustainable beef future

Due to factors such as global population growth and climate change, there are concerns that beef will become scarce in the years to come. By allowing more customers to choose 100% vegetable patties in addition to beef patties, B.K. Japan Holdings hopes to contribute to the maintenance of a healthy balance between supply and demand, thereby helping to ensure that people can continue enjoying delicious beef in the future.

According to the press release, this is a great opportunity for those who want to make a difference and are interested in the SDGs, but don't know where to start. So, stop by your closest Burger King location and pick up a "Plant-Based Whopper®" to join them in their efforts.

In addition to the "Plant-Based Whopper®" which will be available à la carte for 290 yen (a 300 yen discount from the regular price of 590 yen) from June 4th to 10th, 2021, the "Plant-Based Whopper® Set" including medium fries and a medium beverage will be available for 590 yen (a 300 yen discount from the regular price of 890 yen) from June 4th to June 24th, 2021.
