On June 12th, 2021, Pray Co., Ltd., the Japanese company behind vegan meal kit OneBite, is opening a plant-based delicatessen called "Glean by OneBite" in the Uguisudani-cho neighborhood of Shibuya Ward, Tokyo.

By creating an environment where sustainable food is more accessible and easier to obtain, the company hopes to encourage more people to live sustainable lives and create a strong community of like-minded people.

Everything is plant-based and organic, and since it's a delicatessen, you can buy just one item as a side dish if you want to. You can also combine several deli items with rice to make a deli box, which is a complete meal.

In the future, Pray Co., Ltd. intends to use this store "as a base to develop sustainable products that can compete globally, create a community that seamlessly connects online and offline customers, and work towards making production and consumption more sustainable in Japan."

For more information on Glean by OneBite, see their website here.

The Glean concept: 100% Plant-Based

Glean puts the health of the earth and customers first. That's why all their meals are free of meat, eggs, milk, and other animal products. Glean strongly believes that they can contribute to a world that is kind to the earth as well as animals while providing customers with a delicious meal.

Glean's 100% plant-based dishes are "healthy and delicious, providing nutrients to boost your health and enhance your beauty."

Delicatessen

Customers can choose from more than 10 deli items to create their own deli box, or they can order just one item, as they wish.

Non-Dairy Products

Glean makes delicious plant milk products without the use of additives. They offer a variety of plant milk products, including cashew-based cheeses and milk, as well as soy-based creams, yogurt, mayonnaise, and more.
