Japan is home to two official, permanent Kirby Cafes, where fans of the pink protagonist are treated to an ever-changing menu. Sometimes the menu additions are inspired by events or new game releases, other times the the dishes will get revamps based on the seasons.

From next month, Kirby will be going into full summer mode with a litany of treats to celebrate all the fun in the sun we’re bound to (responsibly) have.

The super cute Kirby bento box is always a winner, not least because it comes with your very own lunch box to take home with you.

This time it contains a seafood yakisoba, which will instantly make you feel like you’re on a summer trip to a seaside town.

The Kirby Burger is as cute as a burger can be, with a pink, fluffy bun made to look like the rotund hero himself. This dish comes with salad, keeping it light and fresh for the season.

For a summertime drink, the cafe have come up with a striking ‘summer colour jelly soda’.

Plenty of desserts will be gracing the menu, including an adorable sandwich pancake.

There's even a dessert inspired by the Gem Apples that appear in the game.

A banana boat is a common sight at any seaside resort, and Kirby and Waddle Dee are getting their very own version in the form of a colourful dessert.

This menu will be arriving at the Kirby Cafes in Tokyo and Fukuoka from 1st July 2021, and will stick around until 20th September. The full menu and booking information for both branches can be found on the Kirby Cafe website.
