Japan's Donguri Kyowakoku has long been a heavenly emporium for Studio Ghibli fans to hunt down charming merchandise inspired by their favorite films by the beloved animation studio. Just recently, the official merchandise store announced that it would be celebrating the 20th anniversary of Hayao Miyazaki's classic, Spirited Away with a line of goods, the first of which was an amazing No-Face piggy bank that demands coins, devours them, and then belches while the film soundtrack plays.

Donguri Kyowakoku has just now announced the next set of awesome items in their celebration of Spirited Away, and it's highlighted by perhaps the best way for Studio Ghibli fans to light up their room: an actual Hopping Lantern lamp that looks directly lifted from the film!

The lamp is inspired by the Hopping Lantern that guides Chihiro to Zeniba's house in the film, and is known to Ghibli fans as a sign of friendship between Hayao Miyazaki and John Lasseter and an homage to Pixar's signature lamp, Luxo Jr.

The actual lamp part is detachable from the hand, and can be shaken to stir up a brighter light as the flickering "flames" within weaken. It will be available to order within Japan from Donguri Kyowakoku's online store beginning July 22nd.
