Some of the tasty sushi rolls you’ll find in Japanese convenience stores [Review]
Japan never runs short of burger monstrosities that make you curious enough to want to try them. Some examples we’ve seen in the past include a one-pound teriyaki beef burger, a burger with scrambled eggs, and a mac ‘n’ cheese croquette burger.
Now, guests of the Fuji Marriott Hotel Lake Yamanaka in Yamanashi Prefecture can also experience another one of these Japanese burger innovations, through the hotel’s Grill & Dining G restaurant. From September 1 to November 30, 2021, the restaurant is serving a grilled salmon and bacon burger that looks like it’s more than a mouthful.
The burger is made using local ingredients to highlight Yamanashi Prefecture’s produce. The salmon used is “Fuji-san Salmon”, which is also popularly used by local sushi restaurants, and the bacon is made from Koshu Fujizakura pork, which is a specific breed of pig found in Yamanashi. It’s also topped with cheddar cheese and eringi (king oyster) mushrooms.
You can find more information about the hotel and the restaurant through the Fuji Marriott’s homepage.
