Last month, the Japanese manufacturer of paper and stationery products, Nippon Note Co., Ltd. released a new waterproof series of notebooks and memos.

Nippon Note aims to create products that can be useful and compact, also hoping to encourage and support education.

The newly released series Rainguard + (plus) (レインガードプラス reingādo purasu) series consists of eight items that incorporate a special water-repellent paper in their fabrication. The paper used is called Eli-Pla+ (plus) and is also an alternative to plastic.

Product details

There are eight types of Rainguard+(plus) notebooks and memo pads and two colors options.

Rainguard+ (plus) is not only eco-friendly but also very convenient during rainy days and outdoors. Personally, camping is one of my favorite activities during autumn, so having something to take notes without worrying it will get stained or wet, can be a lifesaver.

It has a classic, simple design, and you can choose between top-bound or left-bound spiral notes, depending on your preference.

Prices also vary according to the size, and you have three options:

  • B7 (horizontal/top-bound spiral note): 418 yen (tax included)
  • A7 size: 352 yen (tax included)
  • B8 size: 330 yen (tax included)
  • ※60 pages in total

You can check more related information at Nippon Note's official website.
