Studio Ghibli animations are beloved around the world, and the food featured in these films is so iconic, that it has spawned countless fan quests to experience these dishes in real life. Since 'Ghibli food' is so popular, another way fans can reference the movies during mealtimes is with tableware inspired by the various mealtime scenes. The animation studio’s official merchandise store in Japan, Donguri Kyowakoku, has released various sets of tableware along these lines, perfect for Ghibli super fans.

A just released set focuses on the film Kiki’s Delivery Service, and is inspired by the actual tableware belonging to Osono, the bakery owner in the film. The lineup is called ‘Osono-san’s Tableware Series’ and there’s six pieces on offer.

There’s a bright yellow cup featuring red flowers and Kiki’s cat Jiji as motifs (2420 yen).

Most of the other items follow this yellow theme, such as the plate (1870 yen).

The spoon has Jiji prominently placed in the centre (990 yen).

There’s even a milk saucer for Jiji which has a pretty blue and white theme (2420 yen).

Back to the yellow theme, there’s a super cute sugar pot (3080 yen).

Lastly, the jug completes the perfect teatime set for Kiki enthusiasts (3740 yen).

This colourful lineup can be picked up in branches of Donguri Kyowakoku around Japan (store list here), or they can be ordered on their online shop.
