Inside, the walls and ceiling are decked out with the most beautiful interior; and if the views both inside and out aren’t quite enough to satisfy, the restaurant’s continuously revolving lineup of themed Afternoon Teas offer some of the best cuisine laid out on a tiered stand in Tokyo.

With the spookiest day of the year just around the corner, it comes as no surprise that Cafe Legato is ready and waiting with a Halloween-themed Afternoon Tea.

Though celebration on the streets may be dampened this year, there is no reason not to party, and that’s where Cafe Legato comes in with it’s perfectly balanced act of decor, food and drink.

Highly recommended by Cafe Legato’s pastry chef is the Pumpkin Mont Blanc Parfait, which takes on the appearance of an adorable mouse ghost with a mischievous look upon its face. Great care has been put into crafting the perfect balance between rich pumpkin cream and fondant chestnut in this otherworldly parfait.

The chef is also particularly proud of the Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse, which contains homemade praline paste, and the Chocolate Banana Verrine, which combines banana-flavoured panna cotta and chocolate cream.

Of course, the event wouldn’t be quite as spooky if it weren’t for the Halloween-themed decorations placed around the store. Ghosts, ghouls, werewolves and more fill every corner of the haunted restaurant, as if they are part of some sort of paranormal parade possessed by the call of Cafe Legato’s Halloween Afternoon Tea.

The afternoon tea is run on a 2 hour system, with individual last orders taking place 30 minutes before the time slot is up.
