Many of you may have played MapleStory メイプルストーリー, the smash hit MMORPG from NEXON Co., Ltd., and NEXON Korea Corporation. In Japan alone there are five million user accounts! This year is 18th anniversary of MapleStory.
The popular game and its smartphone version, MapleStory M, are running a collaboration with a major Japanese coffee chain, Beck's Coffee Shop ベックスコーヒー. The coffee shop chain has around 70 branches at or near JR stations in the Kanto area.
This collaboration event is running every day starting at 11:00 at three stores: Akihabara Electric Town store, Ikebukuro East Exit store, and Shinjuku store.
Menu
This is a panini with three kinds of mushrooms and spinach cream (sanshu kinoko to hōrensō kurīmu no panīni 3種キノコとほうれん草クリームのパニーニ). The price is 480 JPY.
The panini is inspired by one of the most popular and famous characters in MapleStory, Orange Mushroom (known as メイプルキノコ meipuru kinoko in Japanese). It’s stuffed full of plenty of mushrooms, spinach, smoked bacon, white sauce, and cheese.
The drink menu features the MapleStory Latte (メイプルストーリーラテ)! Needless to say, this drink uses maple syrup inspired by the title, MapleStory. The drink is served with a topping of nuts and whipped cream and is available in hot and iced varieties for 420 JPY.
Do you want to try both the panini and maple-flavored latte? There is a value combo, the MapleStory Set (メイプルストーリーセット), where you can buy them together for 850 JPY.

MapleStory is an MMORPG developed by NEXON Korea Corporation. Players go on an adventure while battling various cute monsters such as mushrooms and pigs in many islands and villages. In Korea, it has achieved a special place in popular culture with over 18 million accounts.
MapleStory M is a smartphone version of MapleStory developed by NEXON Korea Corporation. The smartphone version keeps the same fun gameplay as the computer version while introducing a completely new maple world. This game is available both on iOS and Google Play.
