Thanks to the popularity of the anime series 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba', there’s been a slew of interesting collaboration products. It seems like fans can now add a bit of Demon Slayer flair into every aspect of their daily life.

As a demon, Nezuko may not get much of a chance to eat ice cream, but if she did, it would probably look like this. Maruyama Gelato, a Sapporo based shop, have used 100% Hokkaido milk to create this Demon Slayer-inspired treat, which is a ‘monaka ice’ made to look like Nezuko’s bamboo.

After turning into a demon, Nezuko wears this accessory to hide her demonic features. In Maruyama’s recreation, the green outer layer is made of monaka, a wafer-like Japanese sweet. It’s filled with their popular fresh milk gelato. When designing this icy treat, they tried to make it as close as possible to the size and colour of the actual bamboo in the show.

Naturally, the packaging is also Demon Slayer themed, with Nezuko taking centre stage in the design.

If you want to pay tribute to a fan favourite anime character while eating ice cream, this treat costs 200 yen and is currently being sold in convenience stores and supermarkets in the Hokkaido area.
