One of the highlights of Japan's fall is koyo, the brilliant colors of autumn leaves that many gather to view as the celebrate the coming of the season. For those that want to take in the peak fall scenery, gingko trees at Shinto shrines offer some of the best and brightest colors of the season.

Talented Japanese photographer Hisa (@hisa0808) recently captured a shot at Nyusakadono Shrine in Wakayama prefecture that shows the beauty of a gingko tree in full splendor. So much that many on Twitter have dubbed it a natural fireworks display:

Even as a still photo, the golden leaves of the shrine's tree seem to burst out and move in a firework-like flourish.
