When you hear “virtual live concert”, you might associate the phrase with Vtubers. However, virtual live concerts are not only restricted to Vtubers anymore! These days, non-virtual singers have started to hold their own live concerts in the virtual space too.
fripSide is one of great singers to start their first virtual live using their 3D model avatars. The exciting event is called “fripSide VIRTUAL LIVE 2022 in VARK” and it will be held at 7:00 pm (JST) on January 8th, 2022!

In the “fripSide VIRTUAL LIVE 2022 in VARK”, fripSide’s 3D avatars will perform in a virtual world! This great live will be realized with the amazing technologies of VARK Inc., which, as some of our readers may recall, also hosted virtual singer YuNi's VR concerts.

How to watch the virtual live
A non-VR version of the live concert will also be streamed on the iOS/Android VARK app and on LINE LIVE-VIEWING, so you can still enjoy the concert without a VR headset. However, you need to have a LINE account to buy your ticket and watch the event on LINE LIVE-VIEWING. Tickets are on sale on the platform. Check details at here.
If you own an Oculus Quest, Oculus Quest 2, or PlayStation VR, you can enjoy the full benefits of a VR experience. It will feel as though you were close enough to touch them. Tickets are on sale in the VARK app.

Nanjo is the vocalist in fripSide, but she is also famous as a voice actress. One of the most famous anime characters she has played is 月読 調 Shirabe Tsukuyomi in戦姫絶唱シンフォギア Senki Zesshō Shinfogia (Symphogear). Sadly, fripSide announced in October that Nanjō will be graduating from the group next year.
