When not in battle, what better way is there to make use of your water Pokémon companion than to make sure you stay hydrated? That’s exactly what this teapot resembling popular water Pokémon Psyduck is designed to do.
The teapot is inspired by a similar object that appears in the popular Nintendo video game Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. But for fans who haven’t played the game, or are yet to come across that item, the teapot’s design and the way liquid flows from its “beak” is more than enough to echo Psyduck’s water gun attack.
An authentic Japanese product, each unit is individually handmade by craftsmen specialising in Gifu prefecture’s mino ware pottery. The main body is made of porcelain, whilst the inside features a stainless steel strainer that allows users to enjoy the freshest of tea.
The product seems to have been an immediate hit, with pre-sales reaching their limit in just a handful of days following its unveiling, but not to worry, the company behind the teapot – Ensky – has announced via their twitter that they plan to increase sales as soon as possible.
Make sure to keep up to date with the information on these additional sales by tapping in to the company’s official twitter account.
