As many dog owners will attest, when a walk starts and stops is very much up to your pet, often with stubborn protesting involved.

It appears that trait also runs in prairie dogs! Yukiyng (@Yukiyng2), who shares the daily adventures of her pet prairie dog Bui on Twitter, recently shared an adorable example of that mid-walk stubbornness in a video.

After a walk with Bui, when Yukiyng had decided it was time to head home, Bui had other plans, setting up some heart-melting resistance when he found a comfortable patch of grass and determined that relaxing sun-bathing was far more important.

"Bui, who starts sleeping in the grass when his servant who wants to go home early. Thanks to that, today's walk took two hours."

As you can see, Bui began to very comfortably enjoy some R&R in the grass when it was time to go home, and with such a blissful look on his face, can you really blame him? According to Yukiyng, Bui never really fully gave full cooperation in getting up, so after 30 minutes she picked him up and began carrying him until he showed a sudden burst of energy and hurried home.
