Themed cafes are a big part of Japanese fan culture, which probably explains why Japan seems to get all the coolest character-themed menus. ‘Oh My Cafe’ in particular specialises in awesome Disney collaboration cafes, including Winnie the Pooh and Alice in Wonderland eateries.

The latest temporary cafes are inspired by Donald Duck, one of Disney’s most classic and beloved characters, to celebrate his birthday on 9th May. The menu and cafe interior has a summery nautical theme to match Donald’s iconic sailor outfit.

Apart from the marine concept, many of the menu items have also been labelled with emotions so that fans can enjoy the many faces of Donald Duck.

There’s the ‘Happy! Curry Rice’.

‘Angry! Tomato Pasta Plate’.

‘Fun! Pool Ring Burger Plate’.

‘Funny! Beak Chicken Sandwich Basket’.

‘Love! Bouquet Yoghurt’.

Then as a special birthday treat, the super cute egg and mashed potato salad will join the menu from 9th June.

There’s also plenty of refreshing drinks on offer, perfect for summer, all with cute Donald motifs.

This bright and colourful nautical theme continues into the exclusive merchandise which will be sold at the cafes, with adorable bags, keyrings, cushions, and more.
