Japanese Twitter user てゆんた Teyunta (@teyunta1123) is a father raising two children.

One day, he noticed some milk had spilled.

"Who spilled the milk?"

Teyunta asked, but there was no answer.

He decided to change his question based on the characteristics of the cup that was still there, lying on its side.

"Is there a cutie in the house who used a red cup?"

The answer was immediate and adorable: "Here!"

The one who responded so cheerfully was Teyunta's 3-year-old son!

Teyunta's son didn't want to identify himself as "the person who spilled the milk," perhaps because he thought his Dad would get mad, but he had no problem being "the cutie who used the red cup"!

This funny anecdote received more than 123,000 likes at the time of writing and elicited many comments, such as:

  • "I remember when my son was pretending to be asleep and I asked him, 'Who's sleeping?' He raised his hand even though he was supposed to be asleep lol"
  • "Just imagining the scene, it's so cute!"
  • "It reminded of the importance and appeal of rephrasing."

"Perpetrator apprehended!" Teyunta said in his Tweet.

After such an endearing appearance, however, we doubt that any judge would ever convict him!
