Actress 大原優乃 Yuno Ōhara loves the ramen restaurant 一蘭 Ichiran. In fact, she's such a fan of the popular ramen chain that she recently featured it on her YouTube channel.

For those who don't know, Ichiran is famous for the quality of their tonkotsu ramen as well as their partitioned booths. This layout not only allows diners to enjoy ramen without any distractions but it's also a boon for solo diners who may feel self-conscious about entering a ramen shop or dining alone.

Ōhara, the actress, singer and model who was a member of the co-ed idol group Dream5 from 2009 to 2016, is most famous for her role as the energetic 各務原なでしこ Nadeshiko Kagamihara in the live-action dramatization of the critically-acclaimed feel-good camping-themed manga series ゆるキャン△ Laid-back Camp which aired on Tokyo TV for two seasons between 2020 and 2021.

With a blissful expression on her face, she savors her favorite ramen dish:

Ōhara says, "I often come to Ichiran by myself." So, this video could be considered a scene from her daily life.

She orders her ramen the way she always does and when it arrives, she digs in with gusto. Her enthusiasm seems to be infectious as her video received numerous comments, such as:

  • "I love how she seems so happy when she's enjoying it! It looks so delicious and I was healed by her smile."
  • "You can tell how good this ramen is by her expression after the first sip of the soup..."
  • "The way she eats is just like a "real-life" Nadeshiko! It makes me want to eat ramen."

It seems that many viewers mentally superimposed the image of Ōhara enjoying ramen with that of her happily enjoying her camp meals as Nadeshiko in the TV drama.

While this video is sure to make you happy, it may make you wish for a bowl of Ichiran ramen, so be careful not to watch it on an empty stomach!
