Donguri Kyowakoku is a shop that is well known among Studio Ghibli fans in Japan. This official retailer has all kinds of awesome items on offer featuring the instantly recognisable characters and motifs from the animation studio’s movies. (And some not so recognisable ones too...)

They even have a sub-brand called Donguri Closet which focuses on the heroines of the films, and specialises in clothing, homeware, and accessories. Their new ‘Roomdress Collection’ in particular has a cute and girly theme, with items perfect for a night in, curled up watching Ghibli movies.

There’s six items in total, inspired by Kiki’s Delivery Service and Howl’s Moving Castle.

The two room dresses themselves look especially lightweight and comfortable, fitting for just chilling around the house in summer.

The next couple of items are stand mirrors, with matching patterns to the dresses. The Kiki’s Delivery service option is themed around Gütiokipänjä, the bakery from the film. The design includes baked food and Jiji, Kiki’s cat.

The Howl’s Moving Castle option features some of Howl’s magical items, as well as flowers, Calcifer and Heen the dog.

Lastly, it’s not a cosy night in without a tasty beverage of some sort. The last two items in the collection are some mugs. They also carry on the same patterns, so that everything in the collection matches perfectly.

The collection can be found at Donguri Closet Lazona Kawasaki Plaza or at any Donguri Kyowakoku with a Donguri Closet corner. Alternatively, they can be nabbed online too, on their online store.
