Japanese calligrapher and inventor もにゃゐずみ Monyaizumi (@Monya_sub) has been posting his brilliant ideas for new products on his Twitter account, some of which are available for purchase. For example, we previously reviewed his witty Error Playing Cards which look like computer error message pop-up windows.

On August 12th, 2022, he announced a new product: "A milk glass that turns into a cake."

Thanks to its adorable appearance and ingenious idea, it quickly elicited an outpouring of reactions such as "I want one!" and "I love the cute design of this glass!"

What happens when you pour milk?

First of all, please take a look at the empty glass. You can see a faint strawberry pattern.

The design is lovely as it is, but this glass is completed by pouring milk (or other white beverages such as yogurt-based drinks, cocktails, etc.) into it.

According to Monyaizumi, since dairy products are also used in the cake, "for some people, the visual effect tricks their minds, making their sense of taste a little buggy" when they take their first sip.

That's one more reason to try these cups for yourself!

You can actually buy them, (international shipping possible) so why don't you try making your own "cake"?
