The "tako wiener", or octopus wiener, which are miniature sausages cut to resemble adorable little octopuses, are one of Japan's many food delights. Whether packed in a bento or served up at an izakaya pub, the cute little cut sausages bring a smile to foodie faces, so much so that you can even get yourself a plushie of one.

Ushihito's fish sausage casing design has Twitter clamoring for an official release, with somes aying they aren't sure if they could bring themselves to peel away and eat the super bubbly sausage that appears to be bursting at the seams. Perhaps the tako wiener has met its match!
