On September 6th, 2022, B.K. Japan Holdings, Inc., which operates Burger King restaurants in Japan, announced it will launch a new "Diablo Garlic Double Cheeseburger" in collaboration with Diablo Immortal, the popular game co-developed by Activision Blizzard and NetEase.
The Diablo Garlic Double Cheeseburger will go on sale for three weeks from September 9th to September 29th, 2022, and will be available in limited quantities. During this period, a collaboration room recreating the dark fantasy world of Diablo Immortal will be open to the public on the basement floor of the Akihabara Showa Dori Burger King branch in the gamer-friendly Akihabara neighborhood of Tokyo.
The Diablo Garlic Double Cheeseburger combines two of Burger King's signature 100% beef patties, grilled over an open flame, with smokey and spicy seasoning flakes and a special spicy sauce, and then layered with four slices of cheddar cheese for a double punch of garlicky and cheesy flavor with a devilishly spicy kick.
The smokey and spicy seasoning flakes are made with very spicy 天鷹 tentaka chili peppers and smoked paprika powder, with additional garlic flavor for a crunchy texture and addictive spiciness sure to please fans of spicy and garlicky foods.
The Diablo Garlic Double Cheeseburger (ディアブロ・ガーリックダブルチーズバーガー in Japanese) will set you back 1,390 JPY a la carte or 1,690 JPY in a combo with medium fries and a medium drink.
To celebrate the launch, customers who purchase the Diablo Garlic Double Cheeseburger will receive a package of Diablo Immortal design moist towelettes, while supplies last.
Attack of The Butcher!
A collaboration room where you can relive The Butcher boss fight is set up on the basement floor of the Akihabara Showa Dori branch!
You can access the room until September 29th, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 10 PM each day (closes at 2:00 PM on September 29th).
