A Japanese paint manufacturer Sakura Craypas released a new color called ‘Shigeru Matsushige’.

That is the name of a famous singer in Japan who is also well known for his tanned skin. If you follow Momoiro Clover Z, you might know him - he's the dude who always come into their concerts to give a surprise announcement.

This story about a rather peculiar color began in a TV program, where they comically discussed what color combination is required to emulate Shigeru Matsuzaki’s tan.

To get this problem solved once and for all, Sakura Craypas brought Shigeru Matsuzaki worked on the color with him for 6 hours.

The result is “Yellow: 25%; Vermillion: 45%; Green: 14%; White: 16%”.

The tan color of the renowned singer is on the Japanese Wikipedia site as well.

I can’t imagine why anyone really want to use this color – maybe just so people can draw the singer with the color approved by the singer himself.
