Since the US Supreme Court's decision to allow gay marriages earlier this year, there has been a lot of news about how dreams of same-sex marriages that became true.

Here's another one from Chula Vista, California. John Banvard, a 95-year-old World War II veteran, and 67-year-old Gerard Nadeau, a Vietnam veteran got married on September 13.

According to Fox5, they've been together for 20 years; the couple decided to get married at the Veterans Home of Chula Vista, where they lived together for three years.

Although it did not sit well with some of the residents at the Veterans Home, it seems that they embraced it.
