While the temples, shrines, and other such traditional spots get most of the attention as tourist attractions in Japan, the twilight lights of its urban landscapes can be just as fascinatingly beautiful. To show that, artist Yukino Ohmura has a creative method of crafting radiant nighttime drawings of Japan's biggest cities--she simply uses colored dot stickers to bring her work to life.

She seems to embrace the idea of using illusion as a way of creating something true, writing on her site that:

Illusion turns out to be truth by keeping a distance from it, and truth may turn out to be illusion too. We are trying to struggle in this world which is filled with uncertain and unstable truths. My art works are part of the truths cut out from this chaotic world.
