Christmas is fast approaching. Many cities in Japan are decorating their streets with special Christmas lighting to get the mood going.

But it's not just in cities that are doing this.

This colorful Christmas tree is not electrically illuminated. It is a 'glass Christmas tree' that actually reflects natural light.

Its name is Abete. It means fir tree in Italian.

Hakone Venetian Glass Museum (Hakone Garasunomori Bijutsukan) hosts a Christmas illumination event starting November 1, 2015.

At the event, there are around 500 candles to naturally illuminate the museum, alongside the glass tree. The naturally-lit Christmas tree is so surreal it is a must-see.

When seen in the video, you can see how beautiful it is - rays of light deflecting inside the glass to create a multi-color wonder.

The Glass Christmas tree will be on display until Christmas day.

Since Hakone is famous for its hot springs as well, dipping yourself in one after seeing the tree would be fantastic!
