100-Year-Old Church Transformed Into A Skate Park

A historic church in the Spanish city of llanera, originally designed by Asturian architect Manuel del Busto in 1912, was abandoned for years and crumbling from neglect. Fortunately, with help from online fundraising and Red Bull, the church was salvaged and turned into an indoor skate park dubbed Kaos Temple.

Artist Okuda San Miguel was commissioned to cover the walls and ceilings with his colorful geometric art style.

Verkami describes some of the work:

His iconic artistic piece Kaos Star represents a colorful and isometric rose[sic] of the winds that tries to tell us that it does not matter were[sic] you are, or what you are doing, what matters are your own goals.
