Donuts are the crème de la crème of delicious breakfast confectionaries — or at least one raccoon thinks so.

Peter Jensen just so happened to be in this Toronto-area coffee shop one night at the same time a hungry raccoon found its way through a hole in the ceiling.

“At first, I thought it was the wind pushing a tile around, then I saw a nose and thought it was a huge rat,” Jensen told the Toronto Sun. “And then I saw the hand come down. I started laughing my head off. [...] Before they got him out, he came back and picked up another two doughnuts.”

Although the video itself is short, the raccoon was actually there wreaking sweet havoc for half an hour, making the owner chase it around with a broom while calling pest control.

But this audacious raccoon wasn’t at all concerned about the coffee shop’s health codes and other guests — all it wanted were a couple of free donuts, and a couple of free donuts it got.
