Like in many countries, people in Japan celebrate Valentine’s Day doing something special with their favorite person. Helping make those days extra special are shops and restaurants nationwide, racking their brains every year for new, creative ideas. And it appears as though even if you run a ramen restaurant, the situation is no different.

Luckily for ramen restaurant Menya Musashi, they were able to come up with the perfect menu. Made in collaboration with Lotte, Menya Musashi’s new ramen is the “Tsuke Ghana 2016,” a chocolatey tsukemen certain to leave a sweet impression.

The product of 3 months of trial and error, Tsuke Ghana 2016 is made with 1.5 bars of Ghana Milk Chocolate and will be yours to devour from February 4th to the 14th. Topped with even more chocolate in addition to strawberry, tomatoes, italian parsley, and herb chashu pork, it looks like a savory bowl of dessert. It’s even sprinkled with smoked chocolate powder so every bite has a different taste.

The rich soup is made with 1 bar of Ghana Milk Chocolate, beef consommé, and a smoothie of Japanese horse radish, carrots, onions, and burdock added to the mixture. They’ve also added fish meal, Worcestershire sauce, some salt and black pepper to balance out the various components.

Menya Musashi has two stores located in Shinjuku and Kamata. Each bowl of this chocolate tsukemen is just 1,000 yen (8.50 USD), but if you’re keen to try, make sure you get to the restaurants early. Tsuke Ghana 2016 is in limited supply, with only 20 servings available in each store.
