There are very few things as heartwarming as the unbreakable bond between a pet and their human. No matter how bad a day you're having, the affection an animal is capable of showing their human companion is usually enough to remedy your situation with a big goofy smile. Unfortunately cats don't get a lot of good publicity in that regard--despite how adorably caring they can be, they are often portrayed as aloof, particular, and scheming. Fortunately, we've come across the ultimate in positive P.R. for kitties everywhere in this video from a Japanese Twitter user that shows an adorable cat cling to its owner with unrelenting love.
Ok, so maybe the kitty just really likes to be in this cuddling pose, but we can't help but think that this cat has a special bond with @Kirika_ma_cos, a Japanese cosplay enthusiast and Twitter user. That may not be so far from the truth, either, as although @Kirika_ma_cos is allergic to cats, he miraculously suffers no reactions from this cuddly kitty, leading to this adorable reaction.
"Dude, I'm not going anywhere."
As you can imagine, the video sent out a shockwave of "D'awwwwwwwww"'s throughout the Twitterverse, making many envious of such a wonderful bond between not just cat and human, but just companions. @Kirika_ma_cos says he's spoiled the cat to the max, and that the feline doesn't put up this kind of touching fight with anyone but himself.
Things got kicked up to an entirely new level of cute, however, when another Twitter user, @momo_panda_, replied with a video of showing their own cat the original video of @Kirika_ma_cos's heartwarming struggle. The kitty reacted appropriately.
Whether you're a cat person or a dog person, we can all agree that getting this kind of reaction from your pet is as special as it gets, even if it means you have to learn to eat with one hand.
