This is not an usual scene to see dog finding himself being taken in the hands of the law. The sad pooch glancing through the backseat window, like he thinks this might be his last day to enjoy the sunlight.
Either he was involved in criminal activity, or just trying to get under the shade out of the hot sunny weather.
According to @alice_herb, the photo was taken two years ago during a casual bike ride, where he found that people were pointing at the police car and realizing a dog was sitting quietly in its backseat. The happening is in Aichi prefecture, the police said it’s not uncommon for them to pick up lost dogs in order to try to get in touch with their owners. The mysterious case is finally solved. We pray for the dog to get to see his owner again, so his face can be less gloomy and be more happy.
