Due to the free roaming nature of some of the animal zones, it isn't uncommon to see some of the animals interact with each other. The official Fuji Safari Park Twitter account recently noticed one interaction that was just too adorable to pass up taking a picture of: a giraffe protecting a baby zebra from a sudden downpour. Source: @fuji_safari1980 Ok, so skeptics will remind you not to get too eager about assigning human behavior to animals, and this could entirely be something else happening. However, even if that's the case, it still makes for a very touching picture. Fuji Safari Park tweeted out this with Japanese text reading: "In a sudden downpour, this baby zebra was soaking wet. Then one giraffe approached, and spread its legs wide apart. It's just as if the giraffe was protecting the baby from the rain so it wouldn't get wet." Buddies in the animal kingdom!
