Things are looking up for an abandoned shopping mall in Gifu Prefecture. Twitter user @yogoren, who is an explorer of abandoned buildings and spiritual places, shared a mysterious photo of onions being sold in a big, empty shopping mall.

What's even more inexplicable is the fact that the onions are restocked every day without a sign or shadow of who did it. There are no cashiers besides a money collection box to receive payment. There are no customers either in this ghost mall, as can be seen from the zero number of cars in the parking lot.

But recently, the onions have been selling out... and it’s kinda creepy.

Did we mention they're gone in less than 15 minutes...?

ALL GONE!!

It seems like after net users discovered @yogoren's post, people flocked to the onion stand to either try to help the store, or to see for themselves if someone is actually buying the onions...

As a result, money has been successfully received in the collection box even without employees working. It's clear proof that the onions aren't being taken by either wild animals or possible spirits. We hope this brings a smile to the owner, and a heads up that they'll probably need to restock again soon.
