The beautiful Japanese traditional architecture “Shoji,” is a door, and window consisting of translucent paper over a frame of wood. They let natural light shine through the windows, a particular bonus from an era when light bulbs weren't around. Invented long ago, that doesn't mean they've gone away. They still can be commonly seen around in many houses and hotels all around Japan.

But be aware, if you happen to own a cat...

Besides light, the window paper might also be sensitive to kitty curiosity/b>...

Twitter user @kokonananya uploaded the unfortunate happening of her misbehaving cats. But we can’t blame them, like popping plastic bubble wrap bags for humans, it’s just too addicting.
