You can't throw a stone without hitting a cute idol group in Japan, and the same goes for cute dogs. While Shiba Inu have a stronghold on internet attention, their bigger and fluffier counterpart, the Akita, is also worthy of your attention. It didn't take long for Akita Inu Tourism, and organization hoping to boost travel in the prefecture of the same name as the cute canine, to take advantage of the appeal of both idols and Akita dogs. Combining the two, you have Mofu Mofu Dogs--a fluffy Akita dog idol group!

Waiting4U by Mofu Mofu Dogs

(English captions are available.)

The Mofu Mofu dogs were so desperate to show everyone the beauty of Akita Prefecture in Japan, they formed an idol group and bark through this song

Mofu Mofu, in this video at least, means warm and fluffy, which is an appropriate name for a group of Akita, who typically brave colder weather thanks to their heavy fur. The state is so strong, the video says, that people find themselves wanting to touch the fur.
